About Sharla's Web
Introduction & Skill Set
Sharlene Chapman (that’s me) is the creator and owner of Sharla’s Web. I have 15 years administrative and customer service experience in positions that have included, Personal Assistant and Office Administrator in the Legal profession, Web site Maintenance and Executive Assistant at senior corporate level in the Australian NSW Local Government industry, and Support Consultant (software support, and online help documentation) with a multi national company in the Information Technology industry.
I’m a quiet achiever who enjoys working with new products and systems. While working full time and raising a family, in 2007 I gained qualification with distinction overall for Web site Development through the NSW Department of Education & Training (Business, Arts & Information Technology).
While I feel some of my most challenging and rewarding experiences are yet to come, raising three great children who have grown into well balanced, responsible teenagers has been a major challenge so far and a very rewarding one.
I am based in New South Wales, Australia and look forward to the various elements of this new challenge providing a balanced and empathic view of what my customers' issues and needs are and how my support services can help them.
Mission
The goal of this site is to put my skills, training and experience to work for individuals, companies and employers who are interested in outsourcing their work to a qualified assistant and to gain experience as a freelance web designer. I look forward to growing and achieving my goals through hard work to develop my strengths, learning from all situations and applying that knowledge where appropriate.
My mission is to provide individuals and businesses with a way to get a professional web site or administrative assistance at an affordable price and to maximize my clients’ satisfaction with a view to earning their continued loyalty.
My aim is to help customers grow their businesses by providing great value through a high quality and reasonably priced service that effectively meets their needs.

My core business philosophy is to obtain a thorough understanding of client requirements and business objectives prior to proposing solutions. This policy will ensure appropriate and cost effective results are achieved.
I have a strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and developing long-term, mutually profitable relationships while providing a professional, friendly and personalized service.

Personal Interests
In my spare time I enjoy teaching and demonstrating 50’s style rock and roll swing dancing for schools, small groups and couples. I also enjoy reading, music and the occasional film.
