Terms of Service
Please read through our Terms and Conditions. We ask that you do not use our web site or services until you have familiarised yourself with them. If you are using or have used our service it is understood that you have agreed to the terms set forth on this page. When we say “I’”, “Sharlene”, “we” “Sharla’s Web” “Sharla’s Web Development and Virtual Assistance”, “SWDVA”, “SW”, “sharlasweb.com”, “us”, “our service” and “my service” we are referring to Sharla’s Web and its respective products and services. References to “you”, “your”, “customer”, “client” and the like, refer to you, and your agents. These Terms and Conditions can change at any time. It is important that you check back here regularly. Your continued use of this web site implies acceptance of any subsequent revisions.
Quotations
Quotations are valid for 14 days and are non-binding. Pricing is subject to change upon the full scope of the project.
Design Deposit
A 50% deposit is payable on all of our design packs and web site projects. This is to be paid prior to beginning work on your web site project with the final 50% payable within 14 days of completion and acceptance by the client.
Virtual Assistance
Virtual assistance will be charged at varying hourly rates depending on the complexity of the project, business requirements and needs. A 25% deposit will be charged based on estimated time to complete with the balance due within 14 days.
Our Billing Procedure
You will be billed upon completion of a project when using our services. In the case that you require Sharla’s Web to source and procure any disbursements on your behalf, such disbursements will be paid by you as they arise.
The Images On Your Web Sites
If we use stock imagery on your web site you do not own these images, ownership is retained by the image rights owner. Such images can therefore not be used or re-used for any other purpose and can only be used as they were placed onto your web site by us. Any editing of the dimensions in which they appear may contravene their usage rights. Do not copy the images and use them in other promotional materials. If you are looking to own the images on your web site or use them for another purpose then please contact us and we will endeavor to put you in contact with the image rights owner.
This of course, does not apply to images that you own and provide to us for use on your web site
Our Intellectual Property
The coding, programming and intellectual property that creates your web site is owned by Sharla’s Web. In purchasing a web site package with us you own the style, design and graphic design of the web site You also own all of the content that you place onto your web site The content, style and design on your web site will be made available to you if you elect to leave Sharla’s Web services and paid for work to date or at completion of the project.
Your Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. We dislike SPAM as well. We will never sell, lease or distribute your contact details to any 3rd party. We will only reveal data pertaining to you if compelled to do so by law.
Jurisdiction
This web site is governed by the laws of the state of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute arising from the use of this web site will be settled in this jurisdiction.
